Motorway cops reflect changing face of WMP specials

On a sunny afternoon in July, Darren Cobb and Luke Cherry clock-in at the Central Motorway Police Group’s base just off the M6 near Perry Barr.

 

They’ve just finished their day jobs and are preparing to patrol some of the region’s busiest roads in their roles as volunteer police officers.
