Modern day historian keeping WMP’s history alive

A photo historian and former detective is keeping West Midlands Police history alive through an online ‘blast from the past’ gallery.

Deb Menzel − who retired in 2010 after a career spent largely in CID bringing serious offenders to justice − has amassed 1,000s of images depicting crime fighting through the decades.
