Man found with serious head injuries in Birmingham city centre

Detectives are investigating how a man came to suffer a life-threatening head injury in Birmingham city centre, which has left him critically injured in hospital.The 31-year-old was found at the junction of Grosvenor Street West at Ryland Street, in the Five Ways area, at around 11.40pm on Thursday night.An ambulance crew took him to hospital and the scene was later cordoned off by officers while enquiries were carried out to try and understand what happened to him.Detective Sergeant Jackie Morr
