Man detained under Mental Health Act after “suspicious items" find
A man arrested by counter terrorism police following the discovery of suspicious substances at his Birmingham home has been detained under the Mental Health Act.Officers moved in to arrest the 27-year-old in Naseby Road, Alum Rock, in the early hours of yesterday morning after concerns were raised over him walking around holding a hammer.He was initially arrested for possessing an offensive weapon in public but later held by terrorism officers when a search of his address uncovered some suspicio
