Man charged with woman’s murder

A man will appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court this morning (Thursday 6 August) charged with murdering a woman at her home in Bartley Green.Unemployed Desmond Thomas, aged 51, from Hospital Street, Newtown, is charged with killing Laura Holden, aged 36 at an address in Monmouth Road on Monday 3 August.
