Man charged with Sutton Coldfield stabbing

Police investigating the attempted murder of a pregnant 40-year-old woman in Sutton Coldfield on Friday afternoon have charged  a man who was known to the victim. He has been charged with two counts of attempted murder, assault, attempt child destruction and possession of a knife in a public place.Babur Karamat Raja, aged 41 from Sutton Coldfield, has been remanded in custody and will appear before Birmingham Magistrates tomorrow (Monday 7 March).The woman is described as being in a stable
