Man charged with attempted rape in Birmingham

Detectives investigating an attempted rape at a Birmingham city centre hotel have charged a 21-year-old man.Unemployed Nohman Ali from Stoney Lane, Sparkhill, was charged with attempted rape last night (Friday 22 April) and was remanded to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court today.The attack happened in the early hours of Sunday 17 April at around 1.30am. Officers would like to thank those who shared the appeal and continue to urge anyone who has any information which may assist the enqu
