Man charged following Birmingham hit and run

A 33-year-old man from Lichfield has been charged after a hit and run collision in Birmingham, which left a pedestrian with a broken leg. 

James Whiteley, from Swinfen, has been charged with failing to stop after a collision, failing to report an accident he was involved in and driving without due care and attention and bailed to appear before Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on 1 April.
