Man arrested following suspected hit and run in Walsall

A man has been arrested following a suspected hit and run in Walsall that left a pensioner with serious head injuries.The collision happened yesterday morning (19 April) at around 11am in Lichfield Road in Walsall. A man believed to be in his 80s sustained severe head injuries and remains in a serious condition in hospital. Following an appeal for information a man was identified and arrested by officers in the early hours of this morning.
