Local man arrested after hit and run in Alum Rock

A suspected hit and run driver has been arrested following a collision in Alum Rock yesterday (12 May) that left a pedestrian with multiple injuries.Police were alerted just before 7pm when a 65-year-old man was struck by a car in Alum Rock Road at the junction of Ludlow Road.The driver of the car sped off but the vehicle was tracked down to a road nearby.
