Kings Heath collision victim named

A motorcyclist who died in Kings Heath on Tuesday (19 July) has been named as Darren Guy. The 37-year-old from Kings Heath was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision in Glenavon Road around 8.15pm, after reports that his bike struck a curb. His 14-year-old passenger is recovering well in hospital. PC Jason Stacey, from the force’s Collision Investigation Unit, continues to appeal for witnesses.
