Heroic top cop awarded for life saving efforts

A brave top cop - who crawled into a crushed van at a road traffic collision to help a critically injured motorist - has been commended by his force.

Chief Inspector Phil Dolby was first to arrive at the scene of the collision on the busy Aston Expressway on 27 November 2013 shortly after 2.40pm.
