Foreign cars seized in clampdown on drivers flouting UK road rules

More than 130 foreign vehicles have been seized in the first few weeks of a pilot clamping down on overseas drivers flouting UK road rules.

West Midlands Police is one of six forces nationwide taking part in a test project that sees officers handed devolved Driver & Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) powers to impound vehicles being driven illegally on the country’s roads.
