Ex-care worker admits poisoning colleagues and residents

A former care worker has today (20 February) admitted attempting to murder staff at the West Bromwich accommodation complex where she worked.

Melissa Swift, who had also previously served as a special constable with West Midlands Police, appeared before Birmingham Crown Court this morning for a case management hearing, where she entered a guilty plea against five charges.
