Eight arrested during series of morning raids

Police investigating drug offences committed by organised crime groups, have this morning (20th May) carried out a series of warrants across south Birmingham, as part of a crackdown on criminal activity.
 
A total of eight people were arrested in the early morning raids at addresses in Rubery, Druids Heath and Bournville, on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs and cultivating cannabis. A further person, linked to the investigation, was arrested at an address in the West Derby area of Liverpool
