Detectives granted extra time to quiz Edgbaston murder suspect

Magistrates have given murder detectives extra time to question a man about the death of a 55-year-old in Edgbaston on Friday night (7 August).The warrant of further detention, granted today at Birmingham Magistrates Court, means that the local man aged 30 and who was arrested at the scene can now be held for further 24 hours.
