Custody Watch: Arrests illustrate mixed bag of police work

A total of 91 police cells are currently occupied across the West Midlands by people arrested on suspicion of offences ranging from audacious shop frauds to drug driving and witness intimidation.They include a woman arrested from a Walsall supermarket yesterday (July 24) for shoplifting over claims she stole two packets of curtains from a shelf…and took them straight to Customers Services claiming a refund!
