Coventry Special’s first arrest hours into shift

A new special constable has spoken of how he made a dramatic first arrest just hours into a shift with a new neighbourhood policing team in Coventry. 

 

SC Robin Durrant, one of the first specials to become operational following a recruitment drive at the end of last year, rushed to the aid of a colleague who was being attacked last Friday (20 June).
