Court grants detectives more time to question terror suspects

Magistrates have granted police extra time to question a man and a woman held on suspicion of preparing for acts of terrorism in the UK.Detectives from the West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU) − part of the national counter terror network − appeared before London’s Westminster Magistrates Court via video link earlier today (Saturday 30 May 2015) to submit their request for a warrant of further detention.
