A distraction burglar, caught after leaving his DNA behind on a coffee cup, has been jailed for five-and-a-half-years.Shaun Higgins convinced an 81-year-old resident of a flat on Belgrave Middleway, Balsall Heath, to let him in on 6 October 2014, after pretending to know the man’s carer.
