Burglary booty in bed sheets leads to Birmingham arrest

A man is in police custody this afternoon (16 April) after residents in Hall Green spotted a suspected thief sneaking through gardens carrying property in bed sheets.Police were called to School Road at around 5.15am when an eagle-eyed resident looked out the window to see a man walking through his back garden with three white pillowcases and a duvet cover bulging with goods.
