Body found in Sameena Imam murder probe

Detectives investigating the disappearance of missing woman Sameena Imam have found a body.

Searches have been conducted this week on an allotment site off Groby Road, Leicester and today (Friday) a body has been found.

The body will be formally identified in due course and as a post mortem will be conducted tomorrow (17 January) to establish the cause of death.

Sameena , aged 34, was last seen in Coventry on Christmas Eve. Her family have been informed of this development.
