Birmingham parents jailed for causing son’s death

The parents of Birmingham toddler, Levi Blu Cassin, have today (22 December) been jailed for a total of 18 years for causing or allowing the 21-month-old’s death.

Danielle Cassin, aged 26, of Frensham Close, Chelmsley Wood, and Marcus Piper, aged 31, of no fixed abode, were found guilty following a four week trial at Birmingham Crown Court on Friday 19 December.
