Birmingham men jailed for bottle attack

A Birmingham man who inflicted devastating injuries on a sleeping man with a broken bottle has been jailed for over 17 years.Michael Jeffers, from Hamstead Road, Handsworth, burst into the bedsit of his 23-year-old victim in the early hours of 27 November last year and attacked him as he slept.
