Birmingham man arrested on suspicion of dog fighting

A 44-year-old man from Handsworth, Birmingham, has been arrested following a joint investigation by the RSPCA and West Midlands Police into organised dog fighting, following a Channel 4 documentary.

 

The man was arrested during a warrant carried out at 7am this morning, on suspicion of conspiracy to organise illegal dog fighting. He has been interviewed and bailed pending further enquiries.
