Ben celebrates success as thousands complete unique life-changing police scheme

A former burglar who chose to put his criminal past behind him is now excelling on an apprenticeship thanks to an innovative project run by West Midlands Police and the Prince’s Trust.

Ben Lilley (pic 2nd left) was jailed in 2012 after being convicted of nine burglaries but on release from prison was recruited onto the highly-acclaimed ‘Team’ programme, which changed his life forever.
