Awards deadline extended as force flooded with nominations

With nominations still pouring in for the policing equivalent of the Oscars, West Midlands Police has extend the Diamond Award nomination period by seven days.

Originally scheduled to finish on the 31 December 2014, the nomination period will now close at midnight on Wednesday 7 January 2015.
