Award for cop’s crusade on city centre car cruisers

A West Midlands Police officer has been named Birmingham’s best bobby for his crusade against problem motorists who plague city centre nightlife strips. PC Chris Bagnall won a community policing accolade at the Best of Broad Street Awards in recognition of his work tackling drivers who cruise the A456 club capital, revving engines, speeding, and hurling abuse and objects at passers-by.
