Athlete admits attempted murder at Alexander Stadium 

An athlete has admitted attempted murder and assault after an unprovoked attack on staff at Alexander Stadium in Birmingham earlier this year. Lauren Jeska, of Wesley Terrace, Machynlleth, Wales, stabbed a 51-year-old man in the head and neck several times resulting in life-threatening injuries, from which he continues to make a steady recovery.The 42-year-old runner also inflicted minor injuries on two other members of staff at the head office of UK Athletics in Walsall Road, Perry Barr on
