Appeal to trace bag snatcher who targeted young mum

Police are hunting a subway attacker who tried snatching a woman’s handbag as she carried her young son through an underpass in Coventry.The 19-year-old was walking through Spon Street subway with her 15-month-old child just before 4pm on 13 March when a man approached and yanked the bag’s shoulder strap.She was pulled to the floor - still cradling her baby in her arms - but thankfully escaped with just minor cuts and bruises, while the child was unhurt.Detective Constable James Clar
