Aldridge stab victim named 

A man stabbed to death in Aldridge last night (Friday 23 June) has been named as James Brindley. The 26-year-old who lived locally died on the High Street by Aldridge Croft just before midnight after spending the evening out with friends. Ambulance colleagues were unable to save him and a post mortem examination is currently underway. Detective Inspector Jim Munro, from force CID, said: "We have spoken to several people who were in the location last night, but we are still asking
