17 years jail for concrete slab attack on Birmingham dad

A remorseless, violent thug who tried to kill a Birmingham dad by repeatedly hitting him over the head with a concrete slab has been jailed for 17 years.James Macmillan, of no fixed address, launched an unprovoked attack on his 40-year-old victim after coming across him in Stud Lane, Stechford, on 20 December last year culminating in him hitting the man over the head with a coping stone plucked from the floor.The 24-year-old was jailed for 17 years at Birmingham Crown Court today.
