Cosford footpath work to be completed this week

The final phase of work to construct a new footpath along the road from RAF Cosford to Cosford railway station is being carried out from today (Monday 28 September 2026) to Friday (2 October), from 8am to 5pm each day.
The path is much needed at a location where people are currently were having to walk along the road with no safe refuge. The work is being funded by Shropshire Council’s grant allocation from Active Travel England, which is used to sup
