A pond dipping platform at Skylarks Nature Reserve has been burnt to the ground. The platform - recently renovated by Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust at a cost of more than £10,000 - was part of an extensive project to encourage the local community to get close to nature.The dipping platform projected out over the water and included a T-bar at the end allowing more room to manoeuvre.
