Musician Nicholas Aslam nibbled a slice of garlic bread and sparked trouble which landed him in the soup on Friday. Nottingham magistrates heard that the snack was served at a table where Aslam was sitting with a friend in the Travelodge hotel on Maid Marian Way.But another hotel guest believed the food was hers and punched him several times, said Ian Boddy, who represented Aslam, 31, of Red Lane, Lowdham.Aslam was pushed away by the woman's boyfriend but he later returned and pressed a plastic.
