Trains are now running again past Beeston following disruption due to an earlier fire involving a gas cylinder near the railway line. Crews from the Highfields, West Bridgford and Central Fire Stations attended the incident, in Padge Road, not far the Highfields station. The fire involved an acetylene cylinder on fire in a building.
