The next time you have a sore throat and reach for a lozenge, think of the hard work of two long-serving workers.Geoff Hoad and Gill Craven have just retired from RB (Reckitt Benckiser) Nottingham, after clocking up a 86 years at the site of service between them.The pair have worked tirelessly for the business which makes Strepsils throat lozenges and took over the Boots healthcare section at Thane Road, Beeston, nine years ago.Mr Hoad, 62, started with the company as a machine operator aged 16.
