A man has appeared at crown court charged with the murder of a dad in St Ann's.Jonathan Jones, of Barbury Drive, Clifton, is accused of murdering 43-year-old John Parker, who police say was knifed in the neck on Sunday.During a short hearing at Nottingham Crown Court on Thursday morning, a provisional trial date of November 30 was set.A trial would be expected to last for up to five days.Jones, 39, did not appear in court and no application was made for bail.He is expected in court on September.
