Nottinghamshire firefighters had a busy time tackling a number of early-morning fires in the north of the county.A crew from Ashfield fire station was sent to tackle a wheelie bin fire in Portland Road, Selston, at 3am on Saturday.One hose reel was used during the incident and firefighters spent around 20 minutes in attendance.Firefighters from Retford fire station were called at 3.07am on Saturday to tackle a car fire in Manvers Road, Retford.The car was severely damaged and the flames spread..
