TracyWalker published Road closed after 12-year-old boy involved in collision with car

A schoolboy has been taken to hospital after he was involved in a collision with a car during rush-hour.The incident happened on Stoneyford Road, in Sutton-in-Ashfield at around 5.30pm.The road was blocked in both directions, between Carsic Road and the B6014 Fackley Road/Welbeck Square for several hours, with police expecting it to re-open at around 8pm.The boy is not thought to have been seriously injured in the incident, but has been taken to hospital as a precaution.Read more: Family say...
