A petition has been launched to stop the withdrawal of a popular bus service.Trent Barton buses has announced plans to axe the number 18 bus, which runs half-hourly between Stapleford and Nottingham and also serves Bramcote, Chilwell, Beeston Rylands, the University of Nottingham, Boots HQ and the Queen's Medical Centre.A spokeswoman for the firm said: "There are plans in place at the moment to withdraw the service.
