Smoother and more efficient journeys are expected now that the new 'smart motorway' in Nottinghamshire has gone 'live'. The £205.8 million scheme on the 20-mile stretch of the M1 is expected to improve travel between junctions 28 at Mansfield and 31 at Worksop.
