Drivers in Nottinghamshire are being warned to plan ahead as the getaway to this year's Download Festival begins. By 4pm on Wednesday, roads in the region had already started to see an increase in traffic as music lovers headed to Donington Park for the annual rock extravaganza, with bands not officially set to perform until Friday. Travellers heading to East Midlands Airport in particular are advised to allow extra time for their journey.
