TracyWalker published A1 closed at Elkesley in both directions due to horsebox fire

The A1 was closed in both directions in Nottinghamshire following a fire involving a horsebox trailer. Six fire engines were called to the motorway at Elkesley, not far from Retford Airport, at around 5.15pm. By 6.30pm, fire crews were still tackling the flames. Police say no one has been hurt or injured during the incident.
