A number of buses have been delayed due to severe congestion in the city centre. Traffic was backing up on many of Nottingham's central roads at around 4pm on Tuesday. Vehicles were bumper to bumper in both directions on Upper Parliament Street and the surrounding roads, including Maid Marian Way and Derby Road.
