A man who was rescued from a burning block of flats says he could not leave without his beloved pet dog - so he ran back inside to get him. Firefighters had to force their way into Philip Prince's second-floor flat in Lord Nelson Street, Sneinton, last night to pull him to safety after they tackled the flames in the empty flat below.
