TomNorton published Thousands join campaign to save Beeston's Post Office

The Post Office has been handed a nearly 4,000 name petition opposing the proposed closure of a branch in Beeston. Residents, councillors and Broxtowe MP Anna Soubry met with a representative from the company on Saturday morning to hand over the petition and comments from the community. The news over the proposed closure was announced earlier this year. The company said it planned to move the branch in Chilwell Road to the WH Smith in High Road.
