A swarm of around 1,500 bees was discovered outside the Cornerhouse yesterday afternoon.A tree outside the building was cordoned off while staff from the Nottinghamshire Beekeepers' Association removed them. The bees had come from the Cornerhouse hives on its third floor where they keep between 25,000-30,000.Once gathered, the bees were taken from the tree to an apiary in Woodborough.The beekeeper left the premises at around 2pm.
