TomNorton published Prince-inspired doughnuts sell out in hours

A Nottingham café made its own deep-fried tribute to the pop legend after his untimely death this week. The Nottingham Doughnut Co made a batch of Purple Rain-themed donuts with a vanilla icing and purple colouring and a smattering of sprinkles. A special edition batch of 350 was made on Saturday morning, at £2 per doughnut or 3 for £5, but completely sold out by 1pm.
