Contractors left a street torn-up after doing work on a telegraph pole, according to a group of furious residents.Workers for Openreach, a BT subsidiary, visited Agnes Villas in Mapperley and allegedly left the road in tatters.People living nearby said the company was there to replace a telephone pole and also took out bollards to access the pedestrianised street.Openreach has apologised for any inconvenience and said it will be conducting a site visit soon to survey any damage.
